As part of our continuing work to investigate real time or near real time feeds into Second Life we now have a RSS feed running on a text board within our section of Second Nature Island.
Joel at CASA has written a script to link each prim to a text character allowing any feed to be displayed on a ticker board. At the moment the board is rigged up to the BBC feed, updating every 20 seconds with the latest news on a 24 x 10 display.
At the moment it only supports RSS but we are working on a Atom related version.
If you have Second Life installed you can visit us by clicking here - you will get a red arrow pointing skywards, simply fly up to our section of Second Nature island.
